The 2010 Stelter Membership Challenge

COPGC Members:

We want to remind you about the Stelter Challenge for new member recruitment for the Central Ohio Planned Giving Council and our parent organization, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP).  Larry Stelter has generously offered a consultation or services valued at $1,000 for the person who brings in the most new members who join both COPGC and PPP.  If you or your organization can't use the consultation, you can donate it to the group of your choice.

Here is the challenge in a nutshell:
--Minimum of three new members to both the local chapter (COPGC) and the national organization (PPP); the person who brings in the most wins.
--Contest runs until Thanksgiving
--Winner will be announced at our December meeting

Here are some good reasons for prospective members to join COPGC
--Focused on the planned giving aspect of our profession
--Membership includes professionals from all aspects of planned giving: planned giving officers, major gift officers, financial planners, estate attorneys, trust officers and more
--Large enough to have a diverse membership, but small enough to get to know other members
--Friendly members willing to assist one another
--Varied programming to address many aspects of planned giving
--Lunch is included in membership fee!
